Milwaukee County Energy Assistance Program

The Covid-19 virus has affected all our lives, but your friends at Milwaukee County Energy Assistance want you to know — they’re ready and able to help. First, while their locations are temporarily closed to the public for everyone’s health and safety, they’re still accepting appointments by phone and via the web. Also ,they’ve cut the income you’re required to report from three months to one, making it even easier for you to qualify. The moratorium extension ends July 15th, the time to apply is right now. You may also qualify for additional crisis benefits until the fund runs out. Just visit www.KeepWarmMKE.org to schedule your phone appointment.
