On Monday, Stockton Police announced additional shootings are connected to the six homicides they are investigating as a serial killing. The now seven unprovoked attacks on men and women between the ages 21 to 54. All the victims were alone and occurred at night or early morning. The lone woman survived being shot.
According to Stockton police, none of the victims were robbed, all of the victims were ambushed, and none of the crimes were connected to drugs or gangs. Additionally, police stated they have tangible proof connecting the five crime scenes.
The newly discovered information demonstrates that the killings are now spread around Northern California and go back to April 2021.
On April 10, 2021, at around 4:18 in the morning in Oakland, according to police, a 40-year-old Hispanic man was shot and died.
The shooting occurred in the 5700 block of Harmon Avenue, the Oakland Police Department confirmed.
Police are asking for the publics help identifying the person caught on surveillance video. There is a $85,000 reward for information leading to a conviction.
