Beyoncé showed the first glimpse of her new haircare brand, Cécred, in a teaser clip and confirmed the release date. “Hair is sacred. The journey begins on Feb 20. Visit CECRED.COM,” Beyoncé wrote in the caption to the trailer, published on her Instagram and official website on Tuesday (February 6). The clip opens with a video of a group of women working at a hair salon called ‘Headliners Hair Salon,’ after Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles' 1990 Houston establishment. Beyoncé has shared the story of working in her mother’s beauty salon as a child. "I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls,” Beyoncé shared on Instagram. "I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I've always dreamed of carrying on her legacy.” This is super dope and I think her hair care line will be a success just like anything she partakes in.
