It's official! We will have the first ever Hip Hop History Month this year. Today, the United States Senate passed Resolution 331, which will recognizes November as National Hip Hop History Month. In addition to the month, the Senate will have an official “Hip Hop Celebration Day” on August 11th, 2021. The Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer along with co-sponsors Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy and California Senator Alex Padilla sponsored the Resolution. All we have to do is figure out how to celebrate in November! I'm thinking we should have a Hip Hop Pride in downtown Milwaukee....I'm just saying lol. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
