10 year old Milwaukee native is taking over the food business! Taniya Purifoy and her mother, Takara White, have turned their idea into a full blown business. One day in the summer of 2017, the ladies were enjoying a nice grilled chicken salad, when Taniya suggested the two should have their own salad dressing company. This lead to Taniya staying up all night researching how to make salad dressings online, then wrote down the ingredients of ones she thought looked good. From there "Orange Summer" became an official business. Some of her salad dressings includes Red Pepper Ginger Salad Dressing and their Green Goddess Salad Dressing. This season "Orange Summer" will offer three types of dressings: Sweet and Spicy Ranch, Smoky French and Sweetened Lemon Garlic. It is extremely important to support and celebrate Black Owned Businesses! And I definitely have to order something. I got a taste for that Sweetened Lemon Garlic.
