Less than an hour ago, Joe Biden announced Kamala Harris will be his presidential running-mate. He wrote,"You make a lot of important decisions as president. But the first one is who you select to be your Vice President. I’ve decided that Kamala Harris is the best person to help me take this fight to Donald Trump and Mike Pence and then to lead this nation starting in January 2021." If you don't know about Kamala Harris, she is a born and raise Oakland, California native, who grew up with Jamaican and Indian immigrants parents. Kamala was influenced to get into politics when she seen her parents participant in civil rights protest. As of right now she is the only black woman in the U.S. Senate. She definitely has my vote.
