A big congratulation to Sha'carri Richardson! Sha'carri has broken the Women's 100 meter Collegiate record with 10.75! But, wait... the best part is that she's only a freshman at Louisiana State University. At the Division I NCAA Outdoor Championship she also solidified her spot as the ninth fastest in the world. Sport's Illustrated reported," The feat makes Richardson the first U20 woman in the world to run a sub-11 seconds in the 100 meters and sub-23.4 seconds in the 200 meters in one day." Before entering college, Sha'carri won the AAU Junior Olympics title in 2016 in the 100 meter race. Now she is faced with the tough decision of turning pro or finishing college.
