Unfortunately School shootings in the US have become something that we are used to hearing about. This year it's happen multiple times and it's only February! I'm tired of hearing about our children- young people and staff being harmed by gun violence. The latest happen in a small town in Florida where the gunman was a former student who opened fire and sadly killed 17 people. How many times will this happen before something changes in America!? These schools/Colleges need to be safer with more security or police procedures. Maybe even metal dedicators some are calling on congress to add stricter gun laws. The other part that makes me shake my head is how some media outlets tried to make the killer who I see as a coward and menace into a victim. Regardless of what his emotional problems may be it doesn't excuse his behavior.
