Evidence or Freedom of Speech?

Queens born singer, David Burke, but to us, known as D4vd, is in the process of being charged with first degree murder. Celeste Rivas Hernandez was last seen April 2025 and then shortly after, found dismembered in the trunk of a vehicle registered in his name. He was arrested 7 months later. Many believe that he will be convicted while his legal team predicts otherwise. Not only do the prosecutors have proof that the vehicle belonged to D4vd, but they also have a motive that he was trying to protect his career by silencing the under age girl, before she exposed their unlawful relationship. Of course, they also discovered photographic evidence that they were in contact. The forensic evidence is present as well. Aside from that, there are many of his songs and videos that may be used in this case. The following are:

  • “Romantic Homicide” -not only the suggestive title but the lyrics about killing someone and not regretting it. *side eye*
  • ”Rehab” music video that depicts an anime of a girl’s arm being cut off, hence Celeste’s mutilated body. *side eye”
  • “One More Dance” music video that shows scenes of two people putting a bloody body in the trunk of a car, as D4vd stands blindfolded. *side eye”

Welp, that’s a lot of coincidences. Do yall think that his lyrics and videos should be included in the evidence against him or should it merely be considered “freedom of speech” in the form of art?
