The government is sending out some form stimulus check to Americans pretty all the time now, as President Joe Biden hopes to help many people struggling financially because of the pandemic. On Friday, August 13, the second advance payment of the child tax credit will be sent out. The first one was sent out on July 15th and eligible families received up to $300 per child under the age of six in their family, and $250 for each child ages 6 to 17. Those households should get the same amount on the 13th, and every month after that through the end of the year.
