50 Cent said "Mary J. Blige Killed it on the BET Awards"! Yeah Mary, did that and so much more! It was great to see everyone really getting into the performances at the BET Awards! The BET Awards is one of the few awards show's that I watch because it doesn't matter who wins, we're going to have a great time and enjoy the show and they almost never get the winners wrong! One thing different this year? No Chris Brown performance! Now that's unusual but I have to give it to Chris normally when they ask for his support he comes out and holds it down for his peeps! Back to Mary's performance though it was amazing! I can't wait for her and Nas to roll through the Fiserve Forum because if her BET setup is anything like what she's going to do on her tour you already know it's going to be lit!
Other great performances? H.E.R. was great, Lil Nas X even though he was lip-syncing(who said that?) he didn't do a good job of covering it up, but I did like seeing him on stage that was fun, DaBaby he was good but I kept thinking he was wearing a muscle shirt! Ha-ha The funniest moment was the whole 50 Cent interrupting your girl Regina Hall with his "I need my money today line"! and Yeah Lizzo had a lot going on but it was cool that's her! I just want to know where she got her pantyhose because they smoothed out all her cellulite :) and that's all I'm trying to do! She looked good! and of course DJ Khaled & John Legend's Tribute to Nipsy! Yep BET y'all did good this year! Any way I hope you enjoyed the show, if you missed it enjoy the highlights right now!
