Ja Rule is feeling remorseful about getting into an argument with Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda... well, sort of.

The New York rapper issued an apology to his "wife, family, fans, business and investment partners" for the chaos that ensued following his confrontation with the G-Unit aritsts.

"I'm not proud of my behavior it's goofy to me," Ja told ABC News on Wednesday, February 11. "I'm a grown man about to be a proud grandfather and I wish that video of me wasn't out there either. I don't like people taking me out of my character so for that I apologize to my wife, family, fans, business and investment partners."

"I want people to know at the end of the day I'm still a man and I'm going to stand my ground. I don't start trouble," he concluded.

Ja Rule definitely stood his ground that day. The confrontation happened after the "Always On Time" rapper had just boarded a flight from San Francisco to New York City. According to Tony Yayo, Ja Rule tried to make small talk before he sat in the row in front of him and Murda. After Murda told him not to talk to them, tensions got the best of everyone. Yayo told Ja to "suck my d**k," which prompted the 49-year-old artist to throw a pillow at him.

"I popped on these punks by myself on a plane lmao p*ssy ass n***as I threw the pillow at yayo head cuz you soft… 😂🤣 knocked ya hat all off s**t was hilarious," Ja Rule wrote on X after the argument. In a statement to TMZ, Ja continued, "These f**king clowns… I saw them when I got on I was laughing like look at these two clowns lol they look like they saw a ghost deer in the headlights they always talking s**t so I addressed them lol."

In video footage TMZ and Uncle Murda posted, you can see Ja Rule get flustered and yell at both artists before a flight attendant stepped in to de-escalate the situation. Yayo and Murda remained on the plane while Ja booked a later flight home. Video footage from the incident instantly went viral on social media. The clips eventually reached 50 Cent, who chimed in with his opinion on the confrontation.

Ja Rule may have apologized to his inner circle, but Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda were noticeably left out of his statement. The duo addressed the incident on the last episode of their new podcast, The Real Report. See what they had to say about the situation below.
