21 Savage is back with his brand new album just in time for the holidays.
On Wednesday, December 12, the Atlanta native dropped his fourth studio album, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE STREETS? via Epic Records. The project comes with 14 tracks, including "I WISH" featuring Jawan Harris, in which he samples R. Kelly's "I Wish" and pays homage to a group of MCs who've passed away over the years. 21 shouts out Nipsey Hussle, Young Dolph, PnB Rock, Rich Homie Quan, King Von, TakeOff, Juice WRLD, Lil Keed and others on the track.
"I wish Dolph would've Uber Eats them cookies instead/I wish Nipsey stayed at home with Lauren, chilled in the bed," he raps.
21 Savage's new album also holds major collaborations, including "MR. RECOUP" featuring Drake, "STEPBROTHERS" with Young Nudy (which samples DMX's "Stop Being Greedy"), and "POP IT" with Latto. The Atlanta-based rapper also enlisted GloRilla, G Herbo, Metro Boomin, and Lil Baby to contribute to the album. The album cover was created by visual artist Slawn, who helped kick off the rollout by debuting his 21 Savage-inspired piece at Art Basel in Miami at the beginning of the month.
21's collaborations with GloRilla and Young Nudy appear on iHeartRadio's Rap Rising playlist. This week's playlist also features new music from Nas and DJ PREMIER, Conway The Machine, Pooh Shiesty and others. Press play up top and scroll below for more new music.
