With the end of the year approaching, Awards Season is just around the corner. And ahead of the 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards, the nominees have been revealed! The awards ceremony will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on Sunday, January 11th, 2026.
Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall revealed the nominees across 28 categories at a press conference at the Beverly Hilton. Leading the film nominations is One Battle After Another, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, which received nine nominations, including Best Motion Picture - Drama and Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson. Other films competing for Best Motion Picture - Drama include Frankenstein, Hamnet, It Was Just an Accident, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value, and Sinners.
In the television categories, The White Lotus emerged as a frontrunner with six nominations, including Best Drama Series. The show also garnered acting nods for Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs, Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, and Aimee Lou Wood.
The nominations also highlighted notable achievements, such as Cynthia Erivo's historic nomination as the first Black woman to earn two nods for lead actress in a comedy/musical film for Wicked: For Good. Additionally, Jacob Elordi received two nominations for his roles in both film and television.
The Golden Globes will also honor Helen Mirren and Sarah Jessica Parker with special awards during the "Golden Eve" primetime special on January 8th, 2026. Mirren will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award, while Parker will be presented with the Carol Burnett Award.
