Jada Pinkett Smith Breaks Silence On August Alsina Affair Allegation

Jada Pinkett Smith is bringing herself to The Red Table.

Earlier this week, August Alsina made a shocking claim regarding his relationship with Jada. During a recent interview with The Breakfast Club’s Angela Yee, Alsina implied he and the Girls’ Trip actress had been romantically involved.

Hours after the interview released, Jada’s team denied the “I Luv This S—t” star’s claims, telling Page Six the validity of Alsina’s account of his tryst with the 48-year-old actress was “absolutely not true!!”

Well, as of Thursday (July 3), Jada seemingly addressed Alsina’s affair allegation with a cryptic tweet.

"There's some healing that needs to happen…so I'm bringing myself to The Red Table,” she wrote, alluding to an upcoming episode of her show Red Table Talk.

In case you missed the interview, Alsina admitted to getting closer to Jada after spending time with her family on a Hawaii vacation in 2016. What’s more, the R&B musician alleged it was Jada’s husband, Will Smith, who supposedly gave him “his blessing” for the alleged affair to continue.

"I actually sat down with Will [Smith] and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership … he gave me his blessing," the 27-year-old recalled. "I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply love and have a ton of love for her. I devoted myself to it, I gave my full self to it — so much so to the point that I can die right now and be okay with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.”

Despite how the situation looks, the "No Love" crooner maintained that he made his revelation not to “stir the pot,” but that the alleged matter had started causing problems within his personal life.
