Megan Thee Stallion Announces First Single Off Her Debut Album 'Suga'

Megan Thee Stallion is nearing the release of the lead single from her debut album, Suga.

On Thursday (January 16), Hot Girl Meg took to social media to announce that her upcoming single, "B.I.T.C.H," is set to drop next Friday (January 24). In addition to the release date, the announcement arrived with the track's cover art featuring a ferocious dog mid-bark. The rapper previously told fans that the first single will become her LP's opening track and set the tone for the rest of the project. Last week, she teased her followers with a brief snippet of the song, which includes a sample of Tupac's "Rather Be Ya N.I.**A." off the late, great's All Eyez on Me LP.

Before breaking the news, Meg had teased a studio session with the one and only Pharrell. "Cooking up with the mf legend himself @pharrell," she captioned a video of the pair in the lab. "We been going in for 3 days straight he calling me meg thee machine ! #SUGA."

As for the highly-anticipated debut, the upcoming Coachella performer said that the project will introduce her newest alter ego named Suga. "My next project I will be introducing a new lady. Her name is Suga. She’s besties with Tina Snow,” she told NPR last year. "I felt like my mixtapes were me flirting with my fans. I never wanted to do an album 'cause I was like, ‘Oh, that feel like marriage. That’s a commitment.’ But now, I’m ready to settle down with an album."
