Tekashi 6ix9ine is making the most of his time behind bars.

According to TMZ, the "STOOPID" rapper is not only cranking out hits in the slammer, he's getting into the best shape of his life.

6ix9ine has reportedly been writing and producing songs for his next album (a follow-up to his November released debut studio album DUMMY BOY), which he's also already created visuals for. While his incarceration is not ideal by any means, his life behind bars is said to have really sparked his creative juices. He's even gotten inspiration from some of his fellow inmates after listening to their life stories, the gossip site reports.

Sources also claimed that 6ix9ine has been working on his fitness, and is actually healthier now than he was as a free man.

As previously reported, the 22-year-old rapper is currently being held in a federal jail without bail, facing 32 years to life, after being charged with six federal crimes. He is being accused of committing the string of crimes with five of his alleged Nine Trey gang members, including: "conspiracy with others to commit racketeering, discharging a firearm while committing a crime, committing a crime of violence in aid of racketeering, assault with a dangerous weapon, carrying a firearm, and committing a crime in aid of racketeering.

Despite reported photographic evidence of 6ix9ine's involvement in some of his accused crimes, Tekashi's lawyer Lance Lazzaro maintains the rapper's innocence. "Daniel Hernandez is innocent and was never part of a criminal enterprise. He should never have been indicted," he told TMZ last month.

The "BEBE" rapper's trial is set for September 4, 2019. So, as of now, he will have to wait behind bars for nearly a year before defending his case as he was denied bail in his last court appearance.
