Event Description:
Join the Parkinson’s Foundation for its 10th Annual Moving Day Milwaukee, a walk for Parkinson’s, on May 16, 2026, in Wauwatosa’s Hart Park (Chestnut Street Commons). Festivities will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the walk will kick off at 10:00 a.m. Participants are encouraged raise funds and donate to support the vital work of the Parkinson’s Foundation. Registration is free.
Moving Day Milwaukee brings together the local community to honor loved ones with Parkinson’s disease (PD), support the work of the Parkinson’s Foundation, and celebrate the power of exercise. The event will include PD-friendly fitness demonstrations, information booths, the signature We Move Ceremony, and a family-friendly walk.
Since 2011, Moving Day events across the country have raised more than $50.2 million to support the Parkinson’s Foundation’s mission to make life better for people with PD.

Parkinson’s Disease
Parkinson's disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that damages dopamine-producing neurons in the brain. People with PD may experience tremor, slow movements, limb stiffness, gait and balance problems, and non-motor symptoms like depression and sleep issues. In Wisconsin, there are an estimated 20,400 people living with PD.
