As we know, yesterday was Martin Luther King day. A day where we should’ve been reflecting on how far we’ve come and how far we have to go to experience total unconditional equality in this country. However, Sexyy Red seen it as an opportunity to honor the civil rights leader in a different manner. She posted an AI generated flirtatious image of her and Dr. King in the club holding hands. Dr. King’s daughter, Bernice King, was not amused. She went to Twitter to express how distasteful and disrespectful it was to her family. Sexyy Red quietly removed it. What’s your thoughts? I don’t believe Sexyy Red has ill intentions but I do think it was tacky.
