Apparently, Lakeyah is a Carmen High School alumni and wanted to partner with them for a back to school event yesterday. The flyer stated that there would be bounce houses, food, book bags and supplies given away. A young lady that attended, has a post going viral because she felt cheated since she received an empty book bag. While I am a person of my word, I would think that there should’ve been equal amounts of the supplies so one wouldn’t run out before the other, to make it fair. It was said that there was supplies being given away but a very limited amount. However, on the flip side, I’ve been raised to move with grace and gratitude, so I think folks should be grateful for ANYTHING they received for free. The Milwaukee rap native, may have been under such scrutiny due to her choice words in a past interview where she basically said Milwaukee is full of followers, saying everyone is either a cna or nail tech here and that’s why she left.
