Alaskans will get an opportunity to decide if it should join Colorado and Washington in legalizing marijuana.
The initiative will appear on the ballot in November's general election. If it passes, adults 21 and older will be allowed to possess up to one ounce of marijuana for personal use and to grow as many as six cannabis plants for their own consumption. A recent poll has shown that 55-percent of Alaskans support legalizing recreational marijuana. (Yahoo)
