On Monday's debut of the third season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, the world was introduced to Waka Flocka's fiancee, Tammy Rivera.
Although Tammy is a new face to fans of the popular reality series, she's no stranger to VH1 producers, who have been trying to cast her since season one. But at the time, Tammy decided to decline the offer. She recently told Sister 2 Sister. "I wasn’t interested. It just wasn’t the right time in my life."
She also revealed it was Wacka's mother, Deb Antney, who persuaded the soon-to-be-newlyweds to take the leap into reality TV; especially now that they've had a few years to solidify their relationship before taking it in front of the camera.
And when it comes to the drama, the Atlanta rapper's long-time girlfriend claims reality TV has nothing on what they've already been though. Tammy said, “We’ve been through hell and high water, so I doubt if this TV show can even compare to half the stuff I’ve been through with this man. This is small peanuts for us."
You can catch Waka and Tammy in action on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on VH1.
TeeRoy's 2 Cents:
- Waka may be a little rough around the edges, but Tammy seems to be in love.
- Love & Hip-Hop is so fake. Let's hope they can keep this season afloat.
