The truck driver responsible for the crash that critically injured Tracy Morganand killed comedian James "Jimmy Mack" McNair is defending himself on Twitter, saying the media is making him a scapegoat because a celebrity was involved.

Kevin Roper, who has been charged with vehicular homicide, is denying some of the claims that have been made in the media. He says he was not drunk or on drugs and denies the claim that he hadn't slept in 24 hours before the crash. He says, "I was never charged at the scene of the accident because once again I was not guilty of any crime. Not until all the TV cameras came." He claims that the only thing he's guilty of is having "an unfortunate accident with the wrong car that night." Roper is due in court tomorrow (Wednesday). (TMZ)
