A third person died Monday from injuries she sustained last week when an alleged drunk driver drove through the crowd, hitting several festival-goers outside at venue, at the annual South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas.
Sandy Le, a 26-year-old Austin resident, was hit by the car driven by the suspect outside a club called The Mohawks last Thursday. She had been in critical condition on life support since the incident occurred.
Le had been hanging out with friends when police say 21-year-old Rashad Owens drove through a barricade and crashed into several festival-goers.
Two others were killed that night with 21 others injured. Six of those are still in the hospital with one in critical condition.
