SOLANGE: Finally Speaks on Elevator Scuffle

Solange has finally acknowledged the elevator altercation with her brother-in-law Jay Z following the Met Gala in May.

In the cover story of the August issue of Lucky magazine, the outspoken Knowles sister sheds a little bit of light on the scuffle. Referring to the incident as "that thing" the 28-year-old says, “What’s important is that my family and I are all good. What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that."

According to Lucky, family is a centering force for Solange and she wants to expand her own once her new album is finished.

TeeRoy's 2 Cents:

  • Solange is the Madea of the Knowles-Carter family.
  • There's still plenty we haven't heard about the incident. And probably never will.
  • It's not like this was the Ray Rice elevator incident. Time to move on.
