Rich Homie Quan was released from the hospital after suffering two seizures while filming a video Tuesday night. His label says he'll be taking a break from performing.
As we reported, while recording the clip for his track "Walk Thru" in Atlanta's Piedmont Park, Quan suffered two seizures and collapsed, "smashing his head badly," according to sources. But the Atlanta rapper tweeted earlier today (Wednesday), "First and foremost, I want to thank God for his blessings. Your boy just been grinding too hard. Thanks for all of the prayers... I'm okay."
Quan's label, Think It’s a Game Entertainment, also released a statement reassuring fans that Quan will still eventually get back on stage. The statement says, "It was a traumatizing experience. [We] can’t give an exact date when he’ll be better, but right now he’s just going to take some time off to be better."
TeeRoy's 2 Cents:
- It's called drugs -- moly, codeine, cocaine.
- If rap exhaustion leads to seizures, then construction workers, fire fighters, and any other blue-collar worker should be catching seizures.
- Get well soon, Quan!
- Let's hope this isn't a sign of something more serious, like epilepsy.
