Seems like all the talk about Lauryn Hill being more responsible about her live events was a little premature.
Just days after actually showing up on time to tape a Beatles tribute for Late Night With David Letterman, Lauryn canceled a show in her home state of New Jersey this weekend. Her rep tells MSN, "She came down with a stomach bug/virus...and received medical attention... Her condition unfortunately did not improve for [the] performance. We apologize for any inconvenience."
According to E!, the show was canceled only hours before Lauryn was scheduled to perform.
TeeRoy's 2 Cents:
- Knew it was too good to be true.
- Too bad for the fans who paid money for that show.
- Hey, maybe she was really sick.
- At least she was smart enough not to stand up Letterman. Just ask John McCain how that can work out for you.
