The Los Angeles Lakers are used to making history, but usually it's for something good. Last night they made history, but for something they're certainly not bragging about. The Lakers were destroyed by the LA Clippers 142-94. The 48-point loss to their Staples Center roommates is their worst defeat in franchise history. It also gave them the worst record in the Western Conference and puts them one loss away from clinching their first losing season since 2004-2005.
The Clippers, who have been owned by the Lakers for their entire existence, have now won six of the last seven meetings between the two teams. (ESPN)
