A Georgia man is behind bars for treating his 12-year-old booze better than his two-year-old son. He made sure to strap the bottle into a car seat but left the tot unprotected.
Cops got a 911 call from a passer-by who said that he saw Robert Mobley slumped over the steering wheel of his car at a traffic light. Police found the toddler sitting in the front seat with no seat belt and Mobley asleep. He had no driver's license since his was suspended for driving while intoxicated.
A search of the car revealed that Mobley had placed a half-full bottle of whiskey into the car seat, which was secured in the rear of the Nissan. It also turned up a plastic bag containing what the suspect admitted was cocaine. The child was released into the custody of a relative, while Mobley was transported to jail. (USA Today)
