Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines is the nation's number-one album after moving 176,000 copies in its first week in stores, according to the latest SoundScan figures. Blurred Lines, which is Thicke's first chart topper, beats out Five Finger Death Punch's Wrong Side of Heaven at number-two and Jay Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail at number-three.

Tech N9NE's Something Else debuts at number-four with sales of 58,000, and J. Cole'sBorn Sinner is at number-14.

MY 2 CENTS:

  • Robin Thicke is enjoying quite a comeback.
  • Blurred Lines just shows you that you still can't beat the power of a big radio single.
  • Tech N9NE is yet another artist who's winning by staying independent.
