Chris Brown is en route to Washington, D.C. today (Friday) with his new federal marshal friends, and when he lands, he could be facing prison time. According to TMZ, prosecutors have just filed documents to take Brown's assault case to a grand jury.
But Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos, isn't taking this latest shot lying down. He's countered by asking that the case be dismissed entirely, claiming that prosecutors are misusing the grand jury system and are simply trying to get a dry run of the trial. However, prosecutors argue that the alleged victim's injuries were serious enough to require hospitalization, and if more evidence is found, that would justify the felony charges.
If Chris is convicted of felony assault -- for allegedly beating the tar out of someone outside a hotel last fall -- he could be looking at three years in jail.

--2.Believe it or not, Chris is a violent repeat offender. He deserves what the prosecution is bringing down on him.
---3.Will Kanye be next? He's another one with a bullseye on his back.
