The Washington DC judge presiding over Chris Brown's assault case there has signed an order to have him released from L.A. County Jail, handed over to U.S. Marshals and brought there to stand trial next month.
According to TMZ, the order was filed on Wednesday but is not yet a done deal until the judge in the Rihanna case agrees to it.
Brown's assault trial is due to begin April 17th.

-1.Why spend taxpayer money to fly this criminal anywhere? Why not wait until he's done serving time before shipping him to DC
--2.Celeb or not -- no one is above the law. It's good he's getting treated like a civilian not a celebrity.
