A cancer charity is suing Chief Keef for skipping out on their fundraiser after being paid to perform at the event. According to TMZ, breast cancer charity RapCure claims to have paid the rapper a $15,000 deposit to perform at its benefit this summer. He was supposed to receive $10,000 more after the show.
Keef was a no-show, even after receiving $2,500 the day before to cover travel expenses. The charity was forced to cancel the benefit and refund ticketholders.
The group is asking for $26,000 to cover the money it paid Keef plus what it spent on equipment and staff for the event.
TeeRoy's 2 Cents:
- Not sure why anyone would hire Chief Keef for a cancer benefit in the first place.
- Doesn't get much lower than skipping out on a cancer charity fundraiser. That's cold.
- Sounds like Chief Keef doesn't have the best advisors.
