Aaron Hernandez has been handed a punishment following his prison altercation with another inmate earlier this week. The former Patriots tight end who is behind bars awaiting trial for murder in Massachusetts attacked another inmate when the two crossed paths in a hallway.
Hernandez, who had been in an isolated part of the Bristol County Jail to keep him away from the general population, has now been moved to an even more restricted area of the facility for the next 30 days. There, he'll spend 23 hours a day inside his cell. When he is allowed out, he will be required to wear waist chains and leg irons. (ESPN)
