24-year-old Qawmane Wilson has been charged with murder and home invasion in the death of his own mother, Yolanda Holmes who was only 45-years-old.
An autopsy showed she died of multiple stab wounds and a gunshot wound to her head.

Cell phone records revealed that Wilson called two other people (Eugene Spencer, 22, who prosecutors said killed Holmes, and Loriana Johnson, 23, who served as Spencer's driver) "before, during and after the murder," Assistant State’s Attorney Maura White said. Both Wilson and Spencer admitted to their roles in the scheme.
