Rapper 50 Cent will have to wait a little longer to respond to charges of domestic violence and vandalism.
50 Cent - born Curtis Jackson - is facing one count of domestic violence and four counts of vandalism stemming an incident that happen at his former girlfriend's Toluca Lake condominium.
According to the "Los Angeles Times," the rapper's arraignment has been pushed back to August 5th. Lawyers for 50 requested the postponement so they can arrange for him to appear at the hearing. If convicted, 50 faces up to five years in jail and $46,000 worth of fines.
50 Cent is accused of kicking his ex-girlfriend, with whom he has a child. The woman reportedly locked herself in a bathroom during an argument with the rapper last month. He is accused of kicking the door open before kicking her. He also supposedly destroyed over $700,000 dollars worth of property.
